Position Overview
Filtrex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our Parts Department. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement and operational support while working closely with our Filtrex Parts Manager, who this position reports directly to. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, is comfortable using technology, and is eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This opportunity is ideal for students, recent graduates, or individuals looking to gain experience in procurement, customer service, data entry, or general operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations within the Filtrex Parts Department
Answer customer and internal inquiries professionally and efficiently
Assist with procurement-related tasks, order processing, and documentation
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
Navigate and utilize multiple internal software systems
Collaborate with team members to resolve operational needs
Provide general administrative and departmental support as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working with computers and navigating software systems
Detail-oriented with solid organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Willingness to learn service industry processes and field operations.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Education & Experience
Currently enrolled in college, nearing graduation, or a recent graduate
OR individuals seeking experience in service industry roles, data entry, or operations
No prior procurement experience required — training will be provided by supervisor

Position Details
This is an in-office position located in Oklahoma with an immediate start date. The role is an hourly internship paying $15.00 per hour, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week. A flexible schedule is available to support students balancing school and work.
