    Job Summary

    As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage the procurement of ingredients, items for resale, packaging materials, and operational supplies needed for both Admin and Operations. You’ll collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams on ordering, inventory control, logistics, and cost optimization. This role demands excellent time management, attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and an understanding of supply chain.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage the full purchasing cycle: source and procure raw materials and packaging, solicit quotes, negotiate pricing, generate POs, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.

    Establish and maintain vendor relationships across domestic and international suppliers, acting as the main of contact and liaison; stay informed on global market trends that may impact pricing, lead times, and availability.

    Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder thresholds based on lead times, ensuring accuracy across both physical stock and digital systems to avoid stockout.

    Collaborate with internal teams including Accounting, Marketing, and Operations, to support budgeting, reconcile invoices and receipts, and align procurement with product launches, promotional campaigns, donations and conventions.

    Maintain organized supplier records, implement cost-saving initiatives, update departmental SOPs, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

    Follow up with suppliers and address issues relating to defective products, delays, or non-compliance; working closely with Receiving to ensure the proper items/supplies arrived in good condition

    Key stakeholder in full inventory audits

    Education & Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred

    1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, or inventory experience—manufacturing or production environment preferred

    Experience with international trade procedures and regulations a plus

    Physical & Work Environment

    Typical office and warehouse setting

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical tasks as needed

    Open to occasional travel (≤10%)
