  • Responsibilities

    Required Qualifications

    • Three years of experience in procurement, specifically technology procurements.
    • Five years of experience working in a professional team environment.
    • Deep understanding of a standard procurement cycle.
    • Deep understanding of business processes, technical processes, and their intersection.
    • Excellent technical writing skills, including an understanding of technology and the ability to translate technical requirements, concepts, and complex business needs into procurement documentation.
    • Exceptional customer service relationship techniques, including superior verbal communication skills.
    • Process-oriented and results-driven work strategy.
    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with highly developed attention to detail.
    • Self-motivated to meet client deadlines.
    • Ability to work in a team environment, either as a leader or leading through influence.
    • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite or products and with business application software and resource planning systems.

    Preferred/Desired Qualifications

    • Experience leading or managing a team.
    • Extensive knowledge of and experience with state and/or federal procurement processes, specifically technology procurements.
    • Experience working with New York State agencies and/or authorized users.

    Education and Experience

    • Five years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in a business or technical field.
    • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
