    ACQUISITION TRAINING INSTRUCTOR | SME

     PACE LLC is a government contracting firm based in the Washington DC area. We are dedicated to providing first-class professional acquisition support services, leadership, and performance to meet the goals and objectives of our clients. PACE LLC is currently seeking Instructors/SMEs to support global training requirements for the Department of State (DOS). This is a part-time 1099 position with PACE to support its accelerated growth. The position is totally remote and requires interest and ability to travel to international locations. There is no requirement to live in the Washington DC metro area.

     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     The PACE ACQUISITION TRAINING INSTRUCTOR/SME will be responsible for delivering both on-site and virtual acquisition training to DOS Locally Employed Staff acquisition professionals overseas. 

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

     EXPERIENCE: 

    •  Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience with government acquisitions and Federal contracting, preferably with cradle to grave acquisition lifecycle knowledge.
    • Experience with DOS and/or other international agency
    • At least 4 years of instructional experience/presentation experience.
    • Must be comfortable instructing in both an onsite and virtual environment
    • Ability to travel internationally 
    • Strong oral communication 
    • Strong classroom management skills

     EDUCATION: 

    •  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree;
    • PREFERRED Master’s Degree or higher

     PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

     Candidates must possess one, or both, of the following:

    • Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Level III
    • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III
    • PREFERRED: CFCM | CPCM
