VISION FOR POSITION

We are looking for interns committed to helping our students access greater opportunities, achieve future success, and contribute to the vitality of our community. Must be available at least two days per week, Monday- Friday between 8:45am – 12:00pm. Interns are expected to work 6-10 hours each week.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Review the activities and materials for that day with students. 
• Greet students when they arrive.
• Walk through activities with students and help them understand the material.
• Practice fluency, such as sight words, letters, and numbers.

SKILLS

• Enjoys working with students and able to develop positive rapport with Prodeo scholars.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Established proficiency in subject matter.
• Positive, go-getter attitude.
• Passion for the Prodeo Academy mission and ability to model Prodeo's core values

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE  

• Preferred: currently pursuing 2 or 4 year degree 
• Experience working with children
• Strong planning and time management skills

COMPENSATION 

Compensation for this position is $10/hour.
