    Job Summary

We’re hiring a data-driven Product Analyst to be the source of truth for product usage and outcomes. You’ll own our Pendo instrumentation (pages, events, funnels, segments) and the analytics stack that turns product data into actionable KPIs for roadmap decisions. You’ll partner with Product Managers before, during, and after launches to define success, measure adoption, and recommend next actions that drive customer value and business impact.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    Instrumentation & Data Quality

    • Build and maintain a Pendo tracking plan: taxonomy, naming conventions, page/feature tagging, event specs, versioning.
    • Configure funnels, paths, cohorts, and segments (e.g., role, tier, region, account size) to answer, “who is adopting and why.”
    • Implement data quality guardrails: monitoring, alerts for broken tags, change logs, documentation, and deprecation workflow.
    • Ensure performance, privacy-safe event capture (PII minimization, consent, retention).

    KPI Definition & Outcome Measurement

    • Facilitate pre-launch success criteria with PMs (baseline, target, measurement plan) and document in a launch brief.
    • Produce 30/60/90-day post-launch readouts with adoption, activation, depth of use, retention, time-to-value, and insights.
    • Tie product metrics to business outcomes (account coverage, expansion, churn risk, NPS/CSAT correlations).

    Dashboards & Decision Enablement

    • Build source-of-truth dashboards (Pendo + BI tool) for initiative health, portfolio views, and executive rollups.
    • Create self-serve reporting (saved reports, curated charts, “how to read this” notes) for PMs and leadership.
    • Translate insights into clear recommendations: double down, iterate, holdback, or deprecate.

    Experimentation &

    • Support A/B tests, staged rollouts, and holdbacks; analyze impact and statistical confidence.
    • Partner on in-app guides/tooltips/nudges (if applicable) and measure lift.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • With PMM/Marketing: surface usage insights to inform positioning, release notes, and campaigns.
    • With Customer Success: provide adoption heatmaps, risk alerts, and feature-education opportunities.
    • With Data/BI: join product usage to account/financial data; improve semantic layers and definitions.

    Education and Experience

    • 4–7+ years product analytics, product management, or equivalent B2B SaaS analytics experience.
    • Direct experience in agriculture, animal protein, livestock operations, or food supply chain preferred (poultry/swine experience strongly preferred).
    • Strong written & verbal communication — able to craft pitch decks, technical one-pagers, and executive summaries.
    • Experience with working with enterprise product teams.
    • Comfortable with data: able to use analytics (product analytics, CRM, marketing automation) to measure success.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with pricing strategy, packaging, and commercial motions for SaaS modules.
    • Familiarity with farm operational roles and on-farm systems (ERP, sensors, MES).
    • Prior work with channel/partner marketing (distributors, integrators).

    Preferred Personal Skills/Abilities

    • Customer empathy + domain literacy speaks producer language, understands operational constraints.
    • Cross-functional influencer aligns Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing.
    • Bias for measurable outcomes: sets metrics, experiments, and iterates quickly.
    • Storyteller: converts data and technical features into compelling narratives for business buyers.
    • Project manager: executes multi-track launches with attention to deadlines and dependencies.

    Tools and Systems

Pendo Analytics/Amplitude/Mixpanel, CRM (Salesforce), Marketing Automation (Marketo/HubSpot), CMS, content tools (Notion/Confluence), demo environment / sandboxes, Google Workspace / MS Office, sales enablement platforms.
