    About the Role

    The Product Packaging & Content Specialist is responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining accurate, compliant, and high‑quality product content across packaging, digital listings, and internal product documentation. This role supports the Product Development team and works cross‑functionally with Sales and Marketing to ensure product information is clear, consistent, aligned with company standards, and supportive of the brand image.

    Responsibilities

    Write accurate, clear, and consumer‑friendly product content for packaging, labels, inserts, and digital platforms.

    Edit and proofread product content for clarity, grammar, consistency, and compliance alignment.

    Ensure all product content complies with U.S. and Canada regulations, including claims accuracy, safety‑related statements, and required disclosures.

    Conduct research to verify product information and support compliance‑aligned content development.

    Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, and Marketing to gather product information and verify accuracy.

    Coordinate with designers to ensure packaging text is correctly placed, formatted, and consistent with approved content.

    Maintain and reinforce the company’s brand image through consistent tone, terminology, and presentation across all product content.

    Maintain organized content libraries, revision logs, and version‑controlled documentation.

    Assist with content updates during reformulations, packaging changes, or regulatory updates.

    Identify inconsistencies or risks in product content and escalate to the appropriate team.

    Support the creation and maintenance of internal content guidelines and style references.

    Travel up to 10% for product reviews, vendor visits, packaging checks, or cross‑department meetings.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.

    3–5 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, editing, or product content creation.

    Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail.

    Ability to interpret product specifications and translate them into consumer‑friendly content.

    Experience with packaging content or compliance‑sensitive writing preferred.

    Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva) is a plus.

    Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
