    Position Summary: Under general supervision, this position requires a highly motivated, collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment and will be involved in national service shop rental equipment assemblies, parts procurement and shipping, control records, and other work as assigned.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide national service shop support, including—but not limited to—maintaining a safe, organized, clean shop environment, completing the components build of newly manufactured rental equipment, and assembling parts kits for various rental equipment.

    • Follow and optimize shop processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

    • Assist the technical director in determining the correct parts for rebuilding and modifying equipment.

    • At the engineering team's direction, assist with procuring parts, testing new equipment, and other assigned activities.

    • Working in collaboration with and at the direction of the national service team, ordering, inspecting, and storing parts for heating equipment/business operations in compliance with purchase order processes.

    • Procure parts and materials from local suppliers and sources in nearby areas, as required.

    • Rebuild/modify equipment and retrofits, including equipment wiring and kit installation.

    • Drive company vehicle between shop and manufacturing plan to pick up/drop off parts and equipment.

    • Assemble retrofit kits for distribution to area service locations.

    • Ship and receive parts and equipment by various delivery methods as requested by area service using various delivery methods, which may include personally driving packages to locations.

    • Assist with maintaining parts room and stock areas neat and orderly to ensure physical inventory levels are monitored and replenished as needed to avoid "out of stock" situations.

    • Assists with ad-hoc and monthly physical inventory.

    • Maintain and continue to develop in-depth knowledge of products and services.

    • Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions following all Federal, State, and country-required regulations.

    • Provide an exceptional customer experience in all service and support actions.

    • When issues or resolutions cannot be reached within one's skill set, collaborate with team members by escalating issues appropriately when issues are outside one's skillset or knowledge.

    • Collaborate with team members throughout the organization.

    • Perform other tasks and activities as assigned.

      • Possession of and ability to maintain throughout employment a valid driver's license in the state of residency with no more than 2 minor moving violations and/or 2 points.
      • Obtain within six months from hire and maintain forklift operator’s license/certification.
      • Special Working Conditions: Exposure to variable temperatures and weather conditions; climbing ladders and stairs; high levels of periodic noise; electrical hazards; dust; unpleasant odors.
      • High school diploma or equivalent; and 12 to 18 months related technical/mechanical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • 2+ years of technical experience in a field customer service environment, preferred

    • Drive forklift after training/certification to safely move parts and supplies boxes and/or pallets and load transport vehicles. Ability to travel when needed and maintain a valid passport for international travel when necessary.
