As our Product Developer, you'll be instrumental in transforming initial concepts into market-ready products that exceed expectations.

As a Product Developer, you'll be the bridge between design and production, ensuring a seamless journey from concept to delivery. Working with the EB Product and Merchandising Teams, the Product Developer will effectively communicate with the selected vendors in achieving project and product objectives in meeting delivery deadlines, quality, features, details, fit, materials usage, and final costing. The Product Developer’s role is critical in achieving the product and business objectives for the Exclusive Brands.

_ Our Next Product Developer Will:_

• Participate in general EB product planning, seasonal needs assessments, and reviews of new product or category ideas.
• Be responsible for assigned product(s) development, guiding projects from initial concepts through to bulk production deliverables.
• Communicate daily with assigned vendors to ensure schedules are met, product objectives are achieved, and strong vendor-partner relationships are fostered.
• Maintain and organize all product information and files, including sample reviews, comments, approvals, and costing.
• Oversee prototype reviews for assigned products, documenting, photographing, and creating detailed review documents for vendor submission, based on design team input and product specifications.
• Coordinate and track comments on new product concept reviews.
• Monitor the status of all in-process development prototypes and samples.
• Update, catalog, and maintain all running trims, accessories, and packaging programs.
• Organize the EB sample and prototype storage area.
• Provide weekly (or as needed) updates on project, product, and development status.
• Travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, to work with vendors and manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

_ Our Next Product Developer Has:_

• 3 years of experience in a related product development role.
• Effective and consistent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships.
• An extremely detail- and accuracy-oriented approach with a strong focus on deadlines, tasks, and deliverables.
• Experience in textiles, apparel, and accessory construction methods and solutions.
• Experience in offshore and domestic manufacturing.
• A positive and flexible, "can-do" attitude with outside-the-box thinking. Dynamic analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent discretion, judgment, tact, and diplomacy skills.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, etc.)
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.), and Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, GMeet, etc.).

Bonus:

• A bachelor's degree in fashion/apparel production management.
• Experience in leather products
• Are an active motorcyclist with experience in motorcycle product categories .
