    Position Summary

    The Product Development Associate Manager plays a pivotal role in bringing Thrive Farmers’ beverage innovations to life from idea to market. This hands-on, entrepreneurial position bridges science and creativity, managing the development of new beverages, flavor systems, and clean-label products across Thrive’s growing portfolio.
    You’ll work closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and external R&D partners to lead product formulation, testing, and process implementation. The ideal candidate combines curiosity, technical expertise, and project management skills to drive innovation, improve processes, and ensure products meet Thrive’s high standards for quality and integrity.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and support beverage product development projects from concept to launch (cold brew, RTD, teas, concentrates, sparkling, and functional beverages).

    • Formulate and prepare prototypes, samples, and recipes for internal tastings, customers, and pilot runs.

    • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance product development speed and precision.

    • Ensure products align with Thrive’s ingredient standards.

    • Manage the Structured Innovation Framework (SIF) and NPD processes.

    • Track project timelines, documentation, and deliverables across departments.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.

    • Conduct competitive benchmarking, consumer trend analysis, and data-driven insights.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in food science, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline.

    • 3+ years of experience in product development (beverage preferred; food acceptable).

    • Experience managing innovation or NPD projects from concept to launch.

    • Exposure quality management, formulation, and supplier engagement.

    • Analytical thinker with curiosity for the market and emerging technologies.

    • Strong communication and project management skills.
    • Experience in small to mid-sized environments preferred.
