Job Description

Manufacturer of extruded products needs a leader to manage rubber chemists, application engineers, and product developers/engineers. Will manage programs to ensure products meet customer needs and can be made within budgets and timelines. This job requires technical knowledge and proven management skills.

This job is in western Tennessee. I am advertising in your area in order to locate people interested in living and working in western Tennessee.

• Leada product development to meet revenue plans. Obtain customer materials approvals, pass validation testing requirements.
• Manages product manufacturing costs.
• Manages field product reliability issues.
• Works with manufacturing to solve design problems and keep costs down.
• Maintains knowledge about competitor products and technologies.
• Defines and supports capital equipment changes.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Engineering and 10 years in engineering, including several years in engineering management.

• Rubber chemistry background is required.

• Experience in rubber product design, rubber formulation, validation testing.

• Experience with Automotive OEM procedures, techniques and requirements is a plus.
