The role
As a Product Development Specialist, you will help bring new Vale products from concept to launch, working at the intersection of food science, consumer insights, and manufacturing.
- Lead formulation and development of new matcha beverages and product extensions
- Coordinate prototype development and sensory evaluation panels
- Manage product specifications, costing, and documentation throughout the development process
- Partner with Supply Chain to qualify ingredients and packaging suppliers
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure products are scalable and repeatable
- Support regulatory compliance and labeling requirements for new products
- Track project timelines and communicate progress to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 3+ years of food and beverage product development experience
- Hands-on experience with prototype formulation and sensory evaluation
- Familiarity with food regulatory requirements including FDA labeling
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
Compensation
$75,000 – $98,000 per year
