    What You’ll Do

    • Serve as the technical expert for a product line focused on AC/DC drives, motors, gearmotors, and soft starters
    • Evaluate and test new automation products and emerging technologies
    • Support new product introductions and guide products throughout their lifecycle
    • Create demonstration projects that showcase product functionality in control systems
    • Define product requirements including hardware and software specifications
    • Work cross-functionally with product management, suppliers, and internal teams
    • Provide advanced technical support and product expertise during normal business hours
    • Lead lifecycle improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce cost
    • Evaluate and collaborate with global suppliers on technology, performance, and support capabilities

     

    What You Bring

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent industry experience)
    • 7+ years of experience in the industrial automation or controls industry
    • Hands-on experience with AC/DC drives, motors, or motion control systems
    • Strong knowledge of industrial automation technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, servos, or encoders
    • Understanding of industrial communication protocols used in automation systems
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively across teams

     

    Bonus Experience

    • Background in control system integration, product application engineering, or product design
    • Familiarity with UL, CSA, CE, RoHS, or other regulatory approvals
    • Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
    • Exposure to related industries such as building automation or medical equipment
