QUALIFICATIONS:
- M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, RF
- Engineering, or similar field.
- 10+ years of experience in product development or innovation within the electronics
- industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches. Experience should
- include at least 3 years of team management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities and
- producing results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging
- stakeholders at all levels
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The product innovation manager is responsible for leading the development and enhancement of
ultrasound technologies and products.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead product innovation, overseeing the development of new ultrasonic products from initial
- concept to product launch.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration,
- innovation and continuous learning.
- Define research goals and develop project specifications and feasibility in cooperation with
- management, production, sales, and marketing staff.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements, particularly in electronics and ultrasonics, and use
- the knowledge to enhance and differentiate product offerings.
- Utilize project management skills to track progress, manage resources, and meet timelines and
- budgets for product development projects.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define product specifications that align with technical
- and business goals.
- Develop prototypes that validate product concepts, ensuring that performance and reliability
- requirements are met.
- Help define component specifications and assist with identifying suppliers.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to transfer products from engineering to production.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout the
- product lifecycle.
- Drive continuous product-improvement initiatives.
- Be the local subject matter expert on ultrasound technology and applications, providing internal
- technical support.
