    Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting a Product Innovation Manager for an electronics manufacturing company in Rochester, NY.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, RF
    • Engineering, or similar field.
    • 10+ years of experience in product development or innovation within the electronics
    • industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches. Experience should
    • include at least 3 years of team management.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities and
    • producing results.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging
    • stakeholders at all levels

     

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    The product innovation manager is responsible for leading the development and enhancement of

    ultrasound technologies and products.

     

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead product innovation, overseeing the development of new ultrasonic products from initial
    • concept to product launch.
    • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration,
    • innovation and continuous learning.
    • Define research goals and develop project specifications and feasibility in cooperation with
    • management, production, sales, and marketing staff.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
    • Stay abreast of technological advancements, particularly in electronics and ultrasonics, and use
    • the knowledge to enhance and differentiate product offerings.
    • Utilize project management skills to track progress, manage resources, and meet timelines and
    • budgets for product development projects.
    • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define product specifications that align with technical
    • and business goals.
    • Develop prototypes that validate product concepts, ensuring that performance and reliability
    • requirements are met.
    • Help define component specifications and assist with identifying suppliers.
    • Collaborate with Manufacturing to transfer products from engineering to production.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout the
    • product lifecycle.
    • Drive continuous product-improvement initiatives.
    • Be the local subject matter expert on ultrasound technology and applications, providing internal
    • technical support.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Compensation
    $130,000-$170,000 per year
