Mountain West Vinyl is looking for a motivated and driven individual to dive into the heart of manufacturing as a Product Inspector.


    At Mountain West Vinyl Products, being a Product Inspector is a vital mission, not just a job. You are the ultimate guardian of our quality, ensuring every product that reaches our customers represents our excellence.

    Your tasks involve more than inspection. You'll skillfully prepare products for dispatch, wrapping them in bundles with precision and using a heat torch to seal the deal. This process is not only about safeguarding quality but also about mastering the artistry of packaging.

    All skills listed below will have on-the-job training available.

    Position Skill s:

    • Inspect finished profiles to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications
    • Use precision measuring tools, including tape measures and calipers, to verify product accuracy
    • Accurately collect, record, and maintain quality data
    • Perform data entry using computer systems and Microsoft Excel
    • Prepare and bundle vinyl products using wood and shrink film systems
    • Apply plastic banding using hand crimping tools to secure bundles
    • Operate heat torch equipment for proper shrink film application
    • Safely operate forklifts to transport and organize finished bundles

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor defects
    • Basic understanding of measurement tools and techniques (can read a tape measure to the 1/16")
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Willingness to learn and operate machinery and equipment
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs

    Shifts:

    Must be willing to work a shift-based schedule that rotates each month.

    • Days: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM
    • Swing: Monday-Friday, 2:00PM - 10:30PM ****
    • Grave : Sunday-Thursday, 10:00PM - 6:30AM
