Operations & Technology: (O&T) is a $1B operating cash flow ($1.5B FCF) division of NBCUniversal. The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, Connecticut, and London.

Enterprise Product Content Supply Chain 2.1 : The Product Team is responsible for developing the Content Supply Chain for all digital assets serviced by NBCUniversal. As we phase out legacy systems, all episodic and short-form content will eventually be processed through our supply chain. Our team comprises multiple levels of Product Managers, each collaborating with different Engineering squads to build and maintain the services that support this supply chain. For the latter part of the year and continuing into 2026, our team will complete the necessary efforts to duplicate part of our supply chain for SpinCo. Subsequently, we will focus on enhancing our entirely cloud-based workflow and retiring systems that utilize outdated, limited technologies.
Enterprise Product Content Supply Chain 3.1 : We manage and support the scheduling entitlement workflows for all linear networks via the Compass application, which is an enterprise scheduling platform. All linear schedules (EPGs) are created in Compass and then distributed to on-air systems for playout. We support many different scheduling workflows for NBC, Cable, Telemundo, Sports, Local Stations, and FAST channels. We, the product team, work with business users and the business solutions team to get the product requirements, and then we work closely with the Engineering team to build the features. The intern will act as a product specialist to gather the product requirements and documents and work with the engineering team to get the feature development done. The intern will get exposure to create the workflow diagrams and the UI mockups using various tools. They will be required to use tools like JIRA, Confluence, Lucid, Figma, etc., to do the day-to-day work. We have a few projects in the works as we are working on creating the Compass clone application for the SpinCo entity. We also have other projects currently in progress for Unified Work Space (UWS).

Basic Requirements:
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.

Desired Characteristics:
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $30.00
