    Summary

    The product manager will report to the CEO - Americas, and to Product Dept in HQ in dotted line. Customer satisfaction with our MEWPs is his/her top priority. Specifically, has overall responsibility for ensuring the development and implementation of New Product Development strategies based on feedback from market and on his/her own market research with customers. Improvement of existing product and implementation of strategies to meet new legal requirements and standards are integral to the role. Future thinking and a vision of innovative product development are key. The Product Manager will also be involved in the dissemination of product information, warranty information and safety critical information to our customers.

    Key accountabilities and Responsibilities:

    PDI: creating SOPs, systematic administration, re-labelling oversight, compliance.

    Warranty: Product registration processes, administrative systems, creation and distribution of safety bulletins and factory recalls

    Information: working with marketing teams to ensure provision of first class specification sheets and information on web

    Support: Ensuring provision of first class operator manuals (including translations), parts manuals and service manuals

    Creation and management of recommended spare parts lists

    NPD : focusing and driving development of identified products

    Compliance: monitoring all relevant legislation and sharing relevant information with factory.

    Sales Support/Training: Provide product training, support for key deals

    Ensure that Sinoboom products are safe and compliant

    Experience and Qualifications:

    Knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through a high school education or the equivalent with additional training preferred through university or a vocational school

    A minimum of 6 years of experience in the MEWP sector with a rental, distributor or manufacturer company

    Proven additional technical training on MEWPs

    An excellent knowledge of the product and a strong knowledge of the product market including hands on technical experience

    Experience of MEWP sales or a track record of working closely with sales teams

    Excellent data base computer skills with a strong ability to operate PC programs, ability to learn remotely and with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Fluent English and at least one other European language

    Proven project management skills
