Our client is looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work as a Product Marketing Manager for an innovative and successful automation company! You will help to lead the company’s go-to-market activities, position the company’s product offering for long-term global success, and deliver market intelligence to internal stakeholders.

    This role is both strategic and hands-on. Inside the organization, in this role you will interface regularly with marketing communications, sales and technical support, product management, and executive management. Outside the organization you will regularly interface with customers, partners, and industry experts.

    Requirements

    Key Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in motion control related engineering field e.g. electrical, mechanical, industrial.
    • 3+ years’ experience in a product marketing management role in the automation field or an adjacent field e.g. semiconductor manufacturing equipment, laser processing equipment, industrial robotics or similar.
    • Experience planning and executing product launches in global high-tech industrial markets
    • Experience creating technical marketing materials including promotional videos
    • Strong leadership, project management, and presentation skills
    • A growth mindset – desire to continually learn, adapt, and improve
      • MBA or MOT degree – advantage

      Travel

      • Overnight international and domestic travel up to 25%, travel to Europe and Asia typically.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution
      • Create go-to-market plans for the company’s product offering and launches, work in collaboration with stakeholders to execute them
      • Create outlines for key marketing events (e.g. tradeshows, seminars), work in collaboration with stakeholders to execute them
      • Technical marketing and sales enablement materials

      • Create and manage a portfolio of technical marketing materials: videos, presentations, website and social media content, white papers, etc.
      • Create and manage a portfolio of sales enablement materials for colleagues and partners. Periodically present updated materials and provide sales training
      • Define and manage processes for material creation and updates
      • Market intelligence

      • Conduct market research to develop a deep understanding of market trends, needs, potential, opportunities, and threats
      • Customer and partner interviews
      • Attend tradeshows, conferences, and industry events
      • Competitive analysis
      • Analyze market reports and public domain information
      • Generate reports for internal stakeholders based on your research and analysis. Highlight insights and recommendations to help inform management decisions.
