What we are looking for Consiglieri is seeking a curious, self-motivated Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to work with our largest client, a “Magnificent Seven” technology brand, to enhance consumers’ experience and understanding of core tenets within the product portfolio. They are expected to serve as the product expert internally, ensuring it is accurately represented across marketing and sales assets, and acting as the key point of contact for working teams. But this PMM role is a little different than others…really! While the best candidates will have experience working in large matrixed teams within the big tech space, this PMM will also bring unique expertise in video, photography, production, and other visual/content arts. Products and initiatives in this space will benefit from candidates with a cross-functional background that extends beyond the traditional PMM career path, with understanding and time spent across the creative spectrum. They’ll also have experience working alongside multiple agency & creative partners, representing product truth throughout the creative process. They’ll be strong communicators, able to succinctly express points, lead meetings with multi-leveled teammates, and present confidently in front of executives. This role will be 100% remote, but there may be times when the individual is required to attend in-person meetings at the client’s office (San Francisco Bay Area) or travel for related production. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product positioning, feature development, go-to-market plans, and marketing strategies for hybrid hardware/software features within the brand portfolio • Partner with Creative and Production teams – both internally and externally – beyond the “traditional” PMM purview, in order to best leverage those disciplines to bring the unique product features to light • Assist with go-to-market and launch needs, including cross-channel asset reviews, ensuring consistent and elevated product positioning • Maintain the strictest security standards while working with emerging and innovative technology • Champion the user, ensuring marketing strategies and tactics align with product positioning, consumer needs, and messaging • Act as the internal product expert, ensuring accurate representation across marketing and sales assets, with a strong understanding of the market and competition • Gather actionable customer insights through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to inform product and marketing strategies Qualifications: • 7-10 years of experience in product marketing within consumer tech, preferably a global brand with a mix of hardware and software product experience • Ability to craft strategic plans, positioning, messaging, business cases, and use cases from available product inputs, consumer and product research, and past campaign results • Experience and expertise in photography, video and campaign production • An ability to work with creative-minded and engineering-minded teammates alike • Expertise in Figma, digital asset management, and program management software • An understanding of modern marketing channels, how they’re leveraged in modern campaigns, and the ability to connect users in those channels with products • Experience working within a matrixed organization on cross-functional and cross-team projects with numerous stakeholders of varying seniority levels • Expertise working with teams spread across different time zones and in both remote and in-person situations, all on the same initiative • Comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to navigate complex situations with poise and a solutions-oriented mindset • A passion for technology, storytelling, and craft
