We're seeking a forward-thinking, highly organized Product Merchandiser to lead product strategy and marketing across both brands. You’ll be the eyes and ears of what's hot in the market and the operational backbone that brings our merchandise ideas to life — from sourcing and samples to showroom displays and sales enablement.
Role Summary
This hybrid creative-operational role is perfect for someone who lives at the intersection of trends, merchandising, sourcing, and visual presentation. You’ll curate seasonal product collections, drive vendor relationships, manage samples, and help support both sales and marketing efforts with fresh, compelling products and ideas.
Key Responsibilities
Trend Tracking & Merchandising (Origin + Teambilt)
· Act fast on emerging trends and identify opportunities for Origin and Teambilt to capitalize.
· Evaluate quality and marketability of newly released vendor products.
· Promote standout new vendors and explore co-branded or featured item opportunities.
· Assist in downloading sales reps on new and trending products; provide consistent weekly/monthly product updates.
· Assist with product selection for marketing campaigns, social content, email drops, and mailing projects.
· Serve as the go-to person for unique product needs: website stock options, high-profile client projects, rep-sourcing support, and specialty asks from leadership.
· Support sample requests and client meeting prep for the sales team.
· Design and maintain visually compelling lobby and showroom displays aligned with the current season.
· Rotate displays based on product cycles and new arrivals.
· Ensure organization, cleanliness, and tagging across showroom areas, with an associated Excel tracking system.
· Manage and maintain sample inventory, including periodic reviews and decluttering.
· Partner with the Marketing Director to concept and execute new custom merch and uniform campaigns.
· Assist photographer with shoots — curate products, coordinate setups, and co-develop content ideas.
· Help generate social and digital content ideas centered on product storytelling and trend alignment.
· Source products specifically for social media content and marketing mailers.
· 2+ years experience in merchandising, sourcing, or brand/product marketing.
· Strong product intuition and an eye for what’s fresh, functional, and desirable.
· Comfort working with both domestic and overseas vendors.
· Exceptional organization skills — you can manage samples, displays, and communication effortlessly.
· Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and creative teams.
· Enthusiastic, trend-aware, and ready to act quickly when opportunity strikes.
· Previous experience in promo/merch, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
· Familiarity with the sportswear/equipment industry.
· Confident with creating visual displays or showroom layouts.
· Ability to assist with social content creation or marketing coordination.
