Product Owner — Healthcare Workforce Management (Scheduling & Attendance)
Location: Monsey, NY (Onsite Preferred | Hybrid for Right Candidate)
    Salary Range: $120,000–$150,000

    Company Overview

We’re an established and fast-growing SaaS provider building a next-generation Human Capital Management (HCM) platform tailored for healthcare organizations. Our tools streamline operations, boost compliance, and empower long-term care providers to manage their workforce with confidence and clarity.

    Position Overview

We’re hiring a Product Owner to lead the Workforce Management suite — specifically the Scheduling and Attendance modules — with a focus on long-term care and skilled nursing environments. This role is strategic and executional: you’ll define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure we meet complex compliance and operational needs in healthcare.

To succeed here, you must bring deep expertise in workforce scheduling and attendance, a hands-on approach, and fluency in the regulatory and operational challenges faced by SNFs and healthcare providers.

    The Ideal Candidate

You understand how SNFs operate, how shift call-outs derail coverage, and how PBJ reporting keeps admins up at night.
You’re tech-savvy, regulatory-aware, and energized by solving big, practical problems for people on the front lines of healthcare.
You collaborate with engineers, analysts, and designers with ease — and you can talk roadmap with leadership or user pain points with a nurse manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and evolve the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Scheduling and Attendance modules
    • Deep-dive into current product gaps and lead enhancements that drive value and usability
    • Gather and prioritize requirements from healthcare organizations, with focus on SNFs and LTC
    • Ensure compliance with PBJ, staffing ratios, labor laws, and payroll-specific integrations
    • Research market trends and competitor offerings to keep us ahead of the curve
    • Collaborate across UX/UI, Business Analysis, and Engineering to ensure timely delivery
    • Partner with client-facing teams and end-users to gather feedback and identify solutions
    • Mentor BAs in writing effective user stories aligned to product goals and roadmap

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in workforce management
    • Direct experience working with or supporting SNFs, long-term care, or healthcare staffing
    • Expertise in:
      • Shift scheduling workflows: float pools, shift swaps, call-outs
      • Attendance and time tracking compliance (OT, sick leave, ACA, PBJ, etc.)
      • Payroll integration and real-time reporting
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration and team leadership
    • Detail-oriented yet strategic — able to own roadmap delivery and feature definition
    • Skilled communicator across technical and non-technical teams
    • Proactive, hands-on, and user-obsessed

    Must-Haves

    • 5+ years experience in WFM product ownership, ideally in healthcare
    • Deep knowledge of SNF-specific labor requirements and compliance (PBJ, OT, ACA)
    • Experience owning scheduling and attendance products from vision to launch
    • Strong cross-functional communication and execution skills

    Benefits

    • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
    • Full health, dental, and vision coverage
    • 401(k) with match
    • Flexible PTO policy
    • Collaborative, fast-paced environment with real impact on healthcare delivery

If you’re ready to help solve real-world problems for the teams who keep healthcare running — and want to build something that actually matters — we’d love to hear from you.
