    Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite, Full-Time)
    Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000

    Description

We are looking for a hands-on Product Owner / Technical Project Manager who can work closely with our development team, write clear and actionable requirements, and own projects from concept through delivery.

This role requires someone who is deeply familiar with Agile workflows, experienced in writing development tickets, user stories, SOWs, and able to manage complex projects with accuracy and clarity.

You must be comfortable acting as the bridge between business and engineering, ensuring expectations are aligned, timelines are clear, and deliverables are fully understood. Strong stakeholder management is essential.

If you are organized, technical, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-moving environments — this role is a great fit.

    Responsibilities

    Product Ownership & Requirements

    • Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and development tickets
    • Write detailed SOWs, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation
    • Break large projects into structured phases, milestones, and deliverables
    • Maintain and groom the product backlog to keep development aligned and ready

    Agile Workflow Management

    • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
    • Work daily with developers to clarify requirements and remove blockers
    • Ensure smooth workflow across sprints with realistic capacity planning
    • Track progress, manage timelines, and adjust plans as needed

    Project Planning & Delivery

    • Build structured project plans with clear goals, dependencies, and checkpoints
    • Monitor timelines, risks, and deliverables to keep projects on track
    • Provide ongoing updates to leadership and stakeholders
    • Ensure releases meet expectations and match what was promised

    Stakeholder Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact between business and development
    • Communicate updates in a professional, clear, and consistent manner
    • Set expectations, manage priorities, and maintain alignment across teams
    • Gather feedback, understand needs, and translate them into actionable tasks

    Qualifications & Must-Haves

    • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical PM, or Business Analyst
    • Strong background working directly with developers in an Agile environment
    • Hands-on experience writing user stories, tickets, acceptance criteria, and SOWs
    • Ability to plan, scope, and manage complex projects end-to-end
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
    • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
    • Ability to break down complicated tasks into clear, structured deliverables
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
    • Technical understanding of systems, workflows, and development processes

    Final Invitation to Apply

If you’re a structured, detail-oriented Product Owner who loves turning business needs into clear development plans — and you take pride in driving projects from start to finish — we’d love to speak with you.
