Title: Product Owner
Locatio n: Remote within the US
Responsibilities: As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving and defining the requirements of new products and services within our company. You'll have a solid grasp on product ownership tools and techniques, backlog management and prioritization and Agile/Scrum methodologies in order to deliver a high-quality product to increase company revenue.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
- Establishing initiatives that align with the Product Vision and cross-functional product and organizational goals
- Building the Roadmaps that represent the capabilities and cadence of delivery in order to realize value back to the business customer(s)
- Ensuring the roadmap balances new feature development, compliance with standards, accessibility, evolution of the Product Architecture and remediation of technical debt
- Balance and communicate the sequencing and timing of feature delivery in alignment with market and business imperatives
- Create product acceptance criteria that incorporate business benefit value
- Work closely with the business to determine value that will be considered as part of economic value, trade off decisions, or path to realization
- Describe and communicate the product releases to market
- Manage product goals, personas (user roles, needs, wants and goals), user story mapping, backlog, BVRs, value proposition canvas, roadmap, sprint planning/review, and increment releases
The Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Agile experience related to the field of Product Ownership
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, a technical understanding of products and is up to date on industry standards and best practices
- Demonstrates commitment to the craft of Product Ownership
- Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and software development lifecycle processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Pays accurate and precise attention to detail
- Can build strong interpersonal relationships with Stakeholders across both technical and business teams
- Comfortable working with multiple teams that are in-house, remote, and internationally located
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Aha, Azure
- Experience performing customer analysis is beneficial
