Job Description

The Ohio DCY is seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to manage and support SQL Server environments, both on-premise and in Azure Cloud. The role involves system design, performance tuning, cloud migration, and providing Tier III support. Strong collaboration skills and hands-on expertise in SQL Server, Azure Cloud, and DevOps tools are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and support distributed SQL Server environments.

· Lead efforts to migrate SQL-based apps to Azure Cloud.

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance in complex SQL environments.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, IIS, storage).

· Configure SQL services, clusters, replication, log shipping.

· Provide production/non-production support, lead technical meetings, and document solutions.

· Ensure compliance and database security.

Required Skills & Experience:

· 9+ years of SQL Server DBA experience.

· Proven experience with SQL databases in Azure Cloud.

· Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.

· Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).

· SQL Server DBA certification (preferred).

· Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
