Job Title: Product Strategy Advisor

Location: Austin, TX 78758 / Morris Plains, NJ 07950 (Hybrid role )

Duration: 10+ Months Contract

Pay Range is 54/hr. on W2.

Job Description:

Our Benefits Administration team supports this commitment by designing human-centered, intuitive experiences enabling our members to take full advantage of their health plan benefits. We are seeking a product designer to drive the user experience and design of Benefits Administration experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and supportive of our organizational goals.

• The Benefits Administration product designer will be responsible for understanding and enhancing Benefits Administration experiences. This role requires a dedication to improving the health plan experience of our members, empowering them to effortlessly understand and engage with their health plan benefits while driving business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• User Research & Analysis

• Engage with internal stakeholders to understand priorities, success criteria and objectives related to health plan engagement.

• Analyze member needs and the tasks they perform within their health plan.

• Define common user types and journey maps to guide design efforts.

• Design Leadership

• Create intuitive and efficient user interfaces that empower members to understand and engage with their health plan benefits.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and customer support to align design objectives with platform capabilities.

• Advocate for user-centered design practices and ensure consistent application of design principles.

• Prototyping & Testing

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications.

• Lead evaluative testing sessions and iterate on designs based on feedback.

• Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met or exceeded.

• Project Management

• Drive projects from concept to execution, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are optimally utilized.

• Communicate design strategy and updates to stakeholders and teams across the organization.

• Assess project outcomes and iterate on process improvements.

Skills:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in user experience design, with a focus on highly-regulated industries (healthcare, finance, insurance).

• Proven track record of designing intuitive and scalable user interfaces for complex, configurable product experiences

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Figma).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• A proactive, solution-driven mindset with a dedication to continuous learning and improvement

Education:
