    Job Summary

    The Product Test Technician position is responsible for testing our autonomous solutions products, worldwide. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to drive product improvement through testing and failure analysis. This position will work in a cross-functional environment with various internal departments including engineering, production, facilities, and product management. A key responsibility is to align functional resources to achieve targeted strategies and objectives, driving results.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Executing daily test operations; supporting occasional night ops as needed
    • Interfacing with Python scripts, Linux systems, and GitHub repositories (no coding required)
    • Creating and maintaining test plans, reports, and documentation
    • Tracking and fulfilling test tickets using internal tools
    • Collaborating with engineering teams to improve testing procedures
    • Traveling locally around Pittsburgh for field testing
    • Working in a mix of indoor lab, outdoor, and rugged environments

    What You'll Have:

    • 3 years minimum technical product experience in assembly and/or testing
    • A valid driver's license with a passing background check
    • A valid passport or a willingness to get one
    • Strong curiosity and self-starter mentality
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
    • Willingness to travel on short notice
    • Strong team player skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and challenges

    Travel Requirements

    The position requires frequent local travel around Pittsburgh (within 50 miles of our facility) for field testing. The incumbent will also be expected to travel domestically on trips requiring overnight stays up to 20% of the time, and internationally up to 5%.
