Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our team as Exec Ops. This role involves working closely with the CEO to shape the company's future vision and direction. The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in operations, strategy, and executive support, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring the CEO's time is focused on high-impact initiatives. As the company grows, this role is tracked to become COO.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO to refine and execute the company's future vision and strategic goals.
- Develop into a strategic thought-partner, contributing significantly to the organization's growth.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning of internal processes and policies
- Drive towards simplicity in operational processes for enhanced efficiency to reach organizational goals
- Act as an extension of the CEO, having access to all information (emails, meetings, documents and decisions) to align thinking
- Collaborate with leadership to conceptualize and communicate complex ideas effectively
- Spearhead special projects such as metric overhauls, customer research, and executive hires.
- Manage financials, budgeting, and runway in line with business health metrics and collaboration of executive team
- Guide strategic decisions aligned to principles of the Productable methodology
- Oversee staff meetings, set agendas, and drive action items.
- Maintain a pulse on company culture and support in All Hands programming.
- Serve as an advisor to the CEO, offering insights and suggestions.
- Uphold utmost confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in consulting or managing teams and operations within tech companies, including strategy, budgeting, and whole-of-company coordination
- Extremely high EQ and team building skills
- Proven executive presence with exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, and the ability to think visually
- Strong organizational and process-oriented mindset, capable of keeping a clean cadence across the company
- Ability to work with ambiguous ideas, innovate, and drive towards simplicity
- A few of the following experiences: Working with the DoD, at large corporations, as an innovation consultant, at a corporate innovation team, as a venture capitalist, as a designer, as a product developer, in finance, or at a b2b saas company
This role will involve adapting to the dynamic needs of our company, providing critical leverage to the CEO, and contributing to our strategic growth, particularly in leveraging your expertise in the innovation space to align strategies with our product's unique positioning and drive our success in this space.
