    Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Administrator to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate order entry, efficient production scheduling, and smooth workflow coordination. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    Order Entry & Management

    • Enter, review, and validate customer orders in the ERP/MRP system.
    • Verify accuracy of part numbers, specifications, and customer requirements.
    • Create and release production orders to the shop floor.
    • Track production progress to ensure on-time completion.
    • Communicate delays, updates, and schedule changes to internal teams.

    Department Liaison

    • Serve as the main point of contact between Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
    • Clarify product specifications, engineering changes, and customer requests.
    • Assist with planning and prioritizing daily/weekly production activities.
    • Help identify bottlenecks and recommend adjustments to optimize workflow.
    • Maintain accurate records of orders, production status, and engineering documents.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

    Administrative Support

    • Provide general administrative and logistical assistance to the manufacturing and engineering departments.
    • Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process improvements.

    Qualifications

    • Previous administrative or production coordination experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or aftermarket experience a plus).
    • Working knowledge of production workflows, scheduling, or shop floor operations.
    • Proficiency with ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
