Position Summary:

The Production Associate is an attentive and team-oriented individual who will perform a variety of tasks ensuring that manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality. They will also have a high attention to detail and ensure that equipment involved in the manufacturing process is in good working order and being used in a safe manner.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Perform tasks requiring continuous/repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms
• Perform production duties as assigned by production supervisor typically entailing the manual assembly of products
• Capable of weighing and feeding raw materials into appropriate machinery based on production guidelines
• Exercise safe work practices
• Maintain good housekeeping of work area
• Perform all checks as required by the quality sampling standards to maintain specific quality standards
• Maintain production rates and strive to improve
• Record and report all necessary information and computer input as requested
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Team-first and collaborative mentality
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Be reliable and able to work scheduled shifts
• Effective time management skills
• Able to follow written and or verbal instructions to specifications
• Able to climb, bend reach and perform repetitive motions
• Great problem-solving skills

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• Must be able to sit/stand for 8-10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds

Compensation + Benefits:

• Base salary starts at $18.00/hr + bonus based on company and personal performance
