PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

The Production Associate reports directly to the SpeedPro Imaging studio owner and is primarily responsible for producing various wide-format specialty printing products. This position plays a critical role in the franchise’s profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn-around times, high-quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

65% Printing and Production (including measuring, finishing and some installations)

15% Graphic Design

10% Inventory Management and Equipment Maintenance

10% Miscellaneous (i.e., studio upkeep and deliveries)

Core Functions:

• Lead the printing and production of client orders
• Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs and make the graphics print-ready
• Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators and plotters
• Conduct inventory and procurement*

*The team can help with the actual ordering of materials, so long as you provide a list of what is needed

Secondary Functions:

• Graphic design services (unless outsourced)
• Smaller graphic installations
• Unloading/unpacking deliveries to the studio
• Vehicle inspections and measurements; performing site surveys
• Packing, labeling and shipping completed jobs; making deliveries
• Utilization of CoreBridge software for estimates/quotes

Other Required Skills:

• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem-solving skills
• Team player who can accept constructive criticism
• Focus on quality assurance (ensuring the finished product is 100% correct before it leaves the studio)
• Superior time management focus in order to achieve efficiencies and meet strict deadlines
• Customer-service oriented (this is the lifeblood of SpeedPro Imaging)
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and with customers
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ideal candidates will also possess:

• 2+ years of designing/working with vehicle graphics and templates
• Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and graphic and signage finishing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design (or similar program)

Compensation and Benefits:

• $18-25/hr (based on experience) + overtime pay when required
• Quarterly bonus potential

Salary info:

$18 - $25 / hr
