    Production Engineer works to ensure that all products are manufactured with utmost efficiency and quality, according to planned protocols using the appropriate technology. A strong emphasis will be placed on reducing waste, standardizing work procedures, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

    Key responsibilities of the Production Engineer include:

    Drive industrial engineering tasks such as facility layout improvements and workstation ergonomics.

    Implement and maintain standardized work procedures to improve process consistency and efficiency.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with lean principles.

    Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all process improvement activities.

    Enhance daily operational control and performance tracking

    Conduct time studies, cycle time analyses, and capacity planning to support production efficiency improvements.

    Provide training and coaching to employees on current manufacturing techniques and best practices.

    Process Improvement:

    Analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks and production costs, and developing strategies for improvement. Selecting, implementing, and maintaining new production equipment and technologies.

    Quality Assurance/ISO Coordinator:

    Maintains all necessary documentation and updates the documentation when changes in processes or procedures occur. Conducts training programs on ISO standards to employees and stakeholders and ensures that they are aware of the standards and their requirements. Ensuring products meet quality standards and implement quality control measures.

    Systems Integration:

    Analyzing inputs to the production process, the systems supporting these inputs, and developing strategies for improvement.

    Successful Production Engineers are systematic and methodical, possess a high level of technical aptitude and have a strong background in engineering principles and engineering graphics. Prerequisite skills and qualifications include:

    · A bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., Industrial or Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field).

    · The ability to work well under severe pressure

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work within and develop teams

    · Project management skill

    · Outstanding problem-solving skills

    · Excellent information technology skills in specific software packages, including computer-aided modelling and design software

    · In-depth knowledge of manufacturing production, processes and equipment.

    · Understanding of managing and updating a Quality Management system.

    · Experience with design or CAD software and other relevant production planning and control software.
