    Job Description

    ** Position Summary**

    The Production Intern will play a critical role in material handling, chemical repackaging, kit assembly, inventory control, and compliance with safety and ISO standards. This position supports efficient order fulfilment, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement while exemplifying LGC's core values.

    ** Roles and Responsibilities**

    Order Fulfillment & Material Handling

    • Fill shop orders using correct bottle types, sizes, and quantities
    • Assemble kits and complete packaging according to specifications
    • Safely transfer chemicals into appropriate packaging and intermediate containers

    Inventory Management & ERP System Use

    • Maintain and audit inventory, including reordering supplies and managing consumables
    • Perform ERP (IFS) tasks such as inventory adjustments, labor time entry, and shop order updates
    • Develop and maintain cycle counting schedule in coordination with Finance

    Facility & Equipment Maintenance

    • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Bulk Warehouse, Aqueous Repackaging Lab, and Organics Repackaging Lab
    • Monitor, maintain, and report equipment status as needed

    Compliance & Quality Procedures

    • Follow ISO and internal procedures related to Downstream operations
    • Ensure adherence to quality system standards and best practices

    • Perform other duties as assigned to support team success
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications**

    Essential

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Microsoft Office skills and ERP system familiarity

    Preferred

    • 2 years production experience
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Ability to solve practical problems, using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
