Responsibilities:
- The Production Line Coordinator is responsible for converting raw materials into finished goods in the required quantity and quality and performs this function in a safe and sanitary manner following HACCP and GMP guideline at a minimum cost.
- Prepares the production line/lines to assure all the machines are setup and ready to produce the current product. (Ex. Machine programs, count resets, code dates, printer descriptions)
- Assures that all the packaging materials needed are in place and correct for the current product.
- Manages the people assigned to their line/lines and reports all issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Runs the production line/lines in a safe, efficient manner to produce a quality product that meets or exceeds production goals with minimal waste of time, materials, or product.
- Promptly clears problem areas on the line/lines or in machinery that cause downtime (Ex. Changing film, clearing machine jams, etc.).
- Accurately records all information for products run and materials used throughout the day (Ex. Lot numbers, weights, worker in-out times, machine data, scrap, etc.).
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for up to 10 hours a day if needed.
- Overhead lifting/reaching.
