    Job Description

    The Production Manager, Events & Hospitality position will be responsible for managing NBC Sports client events and projects.

    Responsibilities:

    · Assist the Director, Event Management in planning, execution and post-event reconciliations.

    · Manage NBC Sports & Olympics hospitality, tickets, and partner entertainment opportunities.

    · Responsible for ordering and fulfilling all event premiums.

    · Manage vendor relationships including housing, catering, venue and hotel.

    · Coordinate with partner organizations and event personnel regarding event planning and transportation event needs.

    · Manages within the event budget in coordination with Sports Leadership and Finance. This includes ensuring all costs are accounted for and bills are paid.

    · Execute and publish the Event Memo which includes that event, housing and transportation logistics.

    · Book flights, rental cars and hotel reservations.

    · Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Business or a related field

    · Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in event management

    · Proven understanding of the production process (start to finish) involved in Sports Television

    · Must have a proven ability to work effectively with persons at all levels within the internal organization and with those outside of the organization

    Desired Characteristics:

    · Ability to handle multiple projects at one time with a strong attention to detail

    · Must be flexible with last-minute assignments as well as assignment changes

    · Able to effectively and quickly problem solve and handle stressful and time sensitive situations

    Eligibility Requirements:

    · Willingness to travel, work late and across weekends, at times with short notice

    · Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

    · Must be 18 years or older

    Additional Requirements:

    • This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
