  • Responsibilities

    Our client is seeking a ProductionManager to lead daily manufacturing operations across capacitor production lines in Liberty, SC. This role is well suited for a Manufacturing or Process Engineer with 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience. 

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead day-to-day production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets

    • Champion a strong culture of safety, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and standard work

    • Maintain visible leadership presence on the shop floor and proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities

    • Partner with Production Control to plan and execute weekly production schedules aligned with customer demand

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process stability, throughput, and labor efficiency

    • Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools, including standard work, visual management, root cause analysis, and KPI tracking

    • Control scrap, rework, and delinquencies while managing key manufacturing cost elements such as labor and supplies

    • Support new product introductions, process changes, and cross-functional improvement efforts

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory or management experience

    • Strong background in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or industrial engineering

    • Demonstrated success leading Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives

    • Experience leading teams and collaborating across Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations

    • Data-driven, hands-on leader with strong problem-solving and communication skills

    • Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment with extended shop-floor presence
