Production Manager - Glass - Base Salary to 90k/year - Vineland, NJ

• Our client, an in-house glass and plastic manufacturer, is seeking a Production Manager to be responsible for directing & coordinating the activities of the glass production department.
  
• In this role, the Production Manager will provide leadership and oversee the manufacturing activities and optimize processes and production, while ensuring safety & quality.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee glass production department & activities
  
• Identify areas for improvement in the production process.
  
• Implement changes to increase efficiency
  
• Ensure compliance to SOPs and established quality criteria
  
• Develop & publish weekly production schedule
  
• Implement training programs & guidance
  
• Troubleshoot equipment & make adjustments on machines per production demands
  
• Maintain Inventory for Glass Department
  
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure optimum communication
  
• Track material consumption and waste
  
• Cross- train workers for maximum production flow
  
• Maintain ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions

Qualifications:

• Required: 5+ years of experience in Glass Manufacturing Environment
  
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to motivate and direct the team
  
• 3+ Years of operations or production experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  
• Issue resolution & employee development experience
  
• Use MS Office Word and Excel
  
• Ability to think analytically and creativity- investigate moderately complex problems or situations & analyze information
  
• Able to champion operational effectiveness
  
• Implement preventative measures and establish clear accountability for actions
  

Compensation:

• Compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary to 90k/year plus an annual bonus. Our client also offers comprehensive health benefits and 401k with a company match.
