Immediate Opening for a Production Supervisor (Aurora, IL)

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead daily operations and ensuring targets for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity are consistently met
- Manage line flow and balance labor to maintain throughput adherence and prevent bottlenecks
- Maintain a strong floor presence, quickly addressing disruptions to keep production moving
- Facilitate daily start-up meetings to align on schedule, priorities, and known constraints
- Monitor and act on key assembly metrics including attainment, units per hour, first-pass yield, rework, and labor efficiency
- Drive accountability by ensuring team members understand daily targets and performance gaps
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude in understanding assembly processes, tools, fixtures, and equipment
- Support proper use and setup of torque tools, fixtures, and test equipment
- Partner with maintenance to quickly resolve equipment-related downtime
- Ensure operators are following correct build methods and using tools properly
Experience & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in industrial assembly
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Demonstrated ability to use production data to drive decision making on the floor
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot assembly and tooling issues
- Hands-on leadership style with consistent floor engagement
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
