    We are hiring a Production Materials Coordinator. This position will work with all departments to get finished products organized and taken to their destination within the facility. This position will also assist in the completion of final assembly and packaging as needed. This is a direct hire position with full company union benefits.

    Primary Job Responsibilities • Assist Production Manager to direct Warehouse staff workload as necessary. • Identify component requirements for productions from engineering • Review work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped • Track delivery of materials, supplies and equipment where needed • Assist with job scheduling in SAP • Read/Interpret assembly blueprints • Work independently and follow a schedule • Participate in shop cleanup activities • Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules • Responsible for quality as related to job duties, with authority to address issues of quality at any level • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned • Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System • Work with SAP Management Software and Smartsheets to expedite production schedules • Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality • Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards

    Job Requirements • Ability to understand assembly prints • Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts • Performs a variety of assembly operations using drawings, BOM’s and Work Order Travelers to assemble modules, boards, panels and cables • Uses small hand tools such as needle nose pliers, de-soldering tools, tweezers, brushes, screwdrivers, clippers and wire strippers • Basic computer skills • Good communication skills • Positive attitude

    Physical Demands • The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, keyboards or controls • Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear • Occasionally required to walk, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

    Hours: Occasional overtime is a requirement of this job, and these hours may change to meet the needs of our business. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am* *Includes an additional shift pay differential Pay: $21-$24/hr.

    BREAK/LUNCH: 30 minutes lunch, plus two 15-minute breaks, to be determined by manager
