Skills/Requirements:
Two (2) years experience operating traditional woodworking equipment, including saws, planers, joiners, drill presses, and routers
Ability to read mechanical drawings/blueprints, and follow detailed written instructions.
Capable of reading a ruler/tape measure to 1/64”
Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) , involving fractions and decimals.
Lift up to 50 lbs continuously, heavier amounts on occasion.
Successful applicants will be able to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use
Responsibilities:
Loading/unloading lumber, plywood and other wood products into industrial machinery
Measure and mix glue, adhesives, and other chemicals
Perform sanding, painting, and finishing of wood components
Spray and dip finishes such as paints, stains, and lacquers
Assembly parts, using nails, screws, nuts and bolts
Package and palletize product
Perform basic housekeeping in the shop
Maintain courteous, professional and ethical behavior at all times
Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs continuously, standing for long periods, working around industrial machinery
Full Time, 40 hr/week, 4x10 shift, 30-60 day probationary period
