We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
The Production Planner will be responsible for ensuring optimal production schedules that align with demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability. This role involves collaborating with various departments such as production, procurement, engineering and sales to streamline operations and ensure that production objectives are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Analyze and adjust production plans based on changes in demand, supply, and operational challenges.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of schedules, addressing any delays or conflicts that may arise.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary materials while minimizing excess stock.
- Conduct regular meetings with cross-functional teams to communicate production goals, address potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Utilize production planning software and tools to optimize scheduling and production processes.
- Track production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and report on performance to management.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the development and execution of capacity planning strategies to accommodate current and future production needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using production planning software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
