Reports to: Director of Operations Job Description: Meta Power Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Planner to oversee the scheduling and execution of production orders at multiple facilities manufacturing Switchboards, Transformers, and Containerized products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, information systems savvy, and a proven track record supporting on-time delivery and quality objectives. Responsibilities: MUST HAVES: • High Attention to detail • Ability to prioritize multiple projects • Highly effective communicator • Excellent information system execution • Able to understand technical issues • Natural Problem solver • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for projects involving Switchboard, Transformer, and Containerized Switchboard products. • Project Scheduling: Coordinate and create schedules(MS Project) with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement/Logistics, Shipping/Receiving, and QC for all SWB projects. • Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and clients. • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support during the design, development, and installation phases of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. • Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and quality, implementing necessary adjustments and improvements as needed. • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and reporting on financial performance to senior management. • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting notes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project status. • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve project delivery processes. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Proven experience as a Production Planner in the electrical industry, specifically with Switchboards, Transformers, and Containerized Switchboard products. • Experience using Salesforce or other scheduling software to create complete schedules. • Strong understanding of electrical design principles and project management methodologies. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency in material and inventory management. • Ability to travel as needed for project site visits and client meetings.
