  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This position is responsible for planning all in-house fabrication scheduling along with managing outsourcing to tier one suppliers to maintain internal capacity for short lead time requirements. Responsible for reviewing shop floor variances, correcting routings, reviewing tier one supplier billings, validating hours and reconciling invoices.

    • Responsible for planning and releasing production orders as assigned
    • Responsible for balancing production orders for in-house manufacturing vs outsourcing to Tier 1 suppliers.
    • Develop and maintain Tier 1 supplier capacities and communicate to key stakeholder within the organization.
    • Developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products, and adjusting schedules as needed.
    • Tracking the flow of work, identifying bottlenecks, and addressing production issues to maintain smooth operations.
    • Monitoring production metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on production performance.
  • Qualifications

    _ Basic Requirements:_

    • A Minimum of a 4 Year degree in business or a manufacturing field or 5 Years Experience.
    • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing principles, disciplines, and techniques
    • Ability to read and comprehend technical/engineering drawings
    • Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, benefits, repair, and maintenance
    • Previous experience with production control, planning and procurement methodologies processes/projects/tasks through to successful conclusion
    • Ability to think strategically to new ideas of improved procurement planning to drive success
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP
    • Knowledge of production and processing inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the manufacturing of goods

    Additional Information

    The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,000 to $93,000 annually.

    Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
