    Production Planning Coordinator

    About the Role

    We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planning Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining effective production schedules that support customer demand and operational efficiency. You'll work closely with multiple departments to ensure materials, priorities, and capacity are aligned—helping keep production running smoothly.

    What You'll Do

    • Create and manage daily production schedules based on demand, inventory levels, and available capacity
    • Review and adjust schedules to reflect changing priorities, material availability, and operational needs
    • Partner with production, inventory, customer service, and warehouse teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow
    • Monitor schedule performance and production output to identify delays, risks, or inefficiencies
    • Generate and analyze reports on production, inventory, and service levels to support decision-making
    • Help improve scheduling processes, reporting tools, and system accuracy
    • Support inventory control efforts, including stock checks, cycle counts, and data accuracy
    • Coordinate replenishment of packaging materials and production components
    • Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems
    • Provide guidance and support to team members involved in scheduling activities
    • Communicate effectively with leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities
    • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies

    What We're Looking For

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in supply chain, operations, or business is a plus
    • 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or inventory control
    • Manufacturing experience required
    • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Syspro experience is a plus)
    • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data and reports
    • Solid understanding of production flow and inventory management
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
    • Experience mentoring or supporting others is a plus
