Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Summary: Inspects assemblies, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for defects by use of hydro or gas equipment, with instruction from supervision or higher-grade level pressure test operators
Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
Works from blueprints, drawings, specifications, planning sheets and quality control standards.
Installs assemblies in test fixtures or test closures.
Analyzes – by visual examination – the assemblies and sub-assemblies under pressure for the presence or absence of leaks and deformation.
Stamps or otherwise approves acceptable parts and rejects those which are unacceptable. Production stamp.
Perform re-inspection and other associated operations in connection with the work described.
Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
Other duties with the work as assigned.
