    • Our client, a global manufacturer within the building products industry, is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their manufacturing operations team in Fort Valley, GA.
    • This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing manufacturing workflows, and ensuring customer orders are completed on time while balancing production capacity, material availability, and shipping deadlines. This position works closely with production, inventory, sales, and logistics teams to support efficient manufacturing operations. This is a Monday-Friday day shift position with hybrid schedule flexibility available after onboarding and training.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to support customer delivery requirements and manufacturing capacity
    • Review manufacturing demand, shop orders, inventory levels, labor availability, and production constraints to optimize workflow sequencing
    • Coordinate manufacturing routings and production priorities across the shop floor
    • Expedite priority and rush orders while minimizing disruption to production efficiency
    • Track production orders through the manufacturing process and update scheduling systems accordingly
    • Communicate scheduling changes, production delays, and order status updates with internal departments including Sales, Shipping, Production, and Customer Service
    • Monitor raw material availability and production capacity to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations
    • Release and manage shop orders and job packets for production teams
    • Maintain accurate production planning records within ERP and MRP systems
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling accuracy, workflow efficiency, and on-time delivery performance
    • Ensure compliance with company operational and environmental procedures

    Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of manufacturing production scheduling or production planning experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Experience with shop orders, manufacturing routings, demand planning, capacity planning, raw material coordination, and inventory management
    • Experience utilizing ERP and MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including spreadsheets, reporting, and production tracking
    • Experience coordinating with production, shipping, inventory, and sales teams within a manufacturing operation
    • Ability to prioritize multiple production schedules and adapt to changing manufacturing demands
    • Experience supporting on-time delivery and production throughput goals

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 26.00 - 31.00/hour range
    • Quarterly bonus eligible (target bonus approximately 3.33% based on company performance)
