Summary
This position is located in Las Vegas, NV at our Integration Center (onsite).
The primary responsibility of the Production Scheduler I is to firm and schedule production work orders as it pertains to Transport-Compliance, Signages, EGMS and Conversions. The scope includes material review, dating and creating WO, and publishing WO. Production Scheduler I will interface with the Master Scheduler and the Production Scheduler II to better understand business goals and revise work orders as needed.
What You'll Do
Manage time effectively throughout the day to ensure all orders required to be scheduled are completed by end of day
Ensure that material is available for production consumption through the Clear to Build, and escalate immediately material shortages to the Master Scheduler so we can rearrange the build schedule
Review production work orders created by MRP and ensure that all are firmed as required, and create work orders that require manual creation due to inventory inaccuracies in Prod Input locations review
Work with the Master Scheduler as it pertains to deviated orders, must have a sense of urgency to ensure we meet customer requirements, and minimize the effect of a deviation on the production team
Coordinate any expedite requests from customer with production, materials and shipping
Performs order analysis as instructed by the Master Scheduler including reviewing the BOM for specifics attributes, and customer conditionals
Respond to customer orders status requests from Order Planning and Fulfillment (OPAF).
Respond to requests from Shipping, Transportation Compliance and Operations as it pertains to work order firming.
Promote and develop positive communication with sales to improve on time delivery to the customer.
Proactively review material supply and demand to determine appropriate actions to ensure minimal shortages in production
Daily meetings with the Master Scheduler to address any issues as it pertains to the schedule and material availability
Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required:
Experienced with Microsoft D365
Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Ability to manage multiple projects, problem solve and work independently with little supervision
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with management and personnel at all levels.
Strong organizational, time management skills, problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime when necessary
Preferred:
Supply chain experience is a plus
APICS Certification is a plus
