Summary

This role is responsible for planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing processes and resources of AAEM as well as maintenance of both the production facility and equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Supervise the production floor with an aim for high performance

· Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes

· Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of the Production staff

· Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.

· Establish expectation for the team Leads and team members and follow-up at regular intervals.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Communicating customer expectations and delivery to production team members

· Compiling reports on production and providing management with updates

· Ensuring that production processes are in line with AAEM and regulatory requirements

· Ensure the products are meeting our quality standard

· Ensuring all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

· Manage the production flow and adjust schedules in case of delay

· Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance

· Informing our production team of preferred occupational health and safety practices

· Implementing relevant emergency response procedures during emergency situations

· Maintain facility and equipment upkeep by completing preventive maintenance and coordinating needed repairs

· Address any product related issues that may arise and propose solutions to prevent future issues.

· Collaborate with production staff and management to solve work related problems

· Ensure facility is kept clean and orderly to promote safety

· Perform all other duties as assigned

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

· Supports AAEM’s Quality Management System

· Supports AAEM’s ISO 9001:2015 Management System

· Develops, implements and promotes process and product improvements

· Supports other functional areas and individual team members as needed

· Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredit academic institution (preferably in Management/Business Administration)

· 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations

· 5+ years’ experience in machining environment

· 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity

· Excellent project management skills

· Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Excellent communications skills (written / oral)

· Detail oriented and organization skills. Ability to show initiative and work effectively in a team environment.
