    SUMMARY

    We are seeking a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing plant in Pleasanton, TX. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees a team of production employees, manages workflow, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support operational goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to meet production schedules and customer demand.
    • Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards, conducting safety audits, and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
    • Monitor production output, labor efficiency, and material usage; take corrective actions to meet productivity, quality, and cost targets.
    • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality standards.
    • Conduct daily team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
    • Train, coach, and evaluate team members; provide feedback, discipline, and recognition as needed.
    • Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Materials, and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and resolve production issues.
    • Monitor and report performance metrics such as throughput, scrap, rework, and downtime.
    • Maintain accurate records of production activities, attendance, and incidents.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts, lean manufacturing practices, and 5S initiatives.
    • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and cross-training of production staff.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
    • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or electrical/mechanical assembly.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles.
    • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
