Production Supervisor - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 85k/year - Salem, OR

• Our client, a large Metals Recycler, is seeking a Production Supervisor to directly oversee the Maintenance, Production & Efficiency of the Hammermill & Downstream Operations. This role will be responsible for providing leadership to the department and manage the work schedules for operating the Hammermill & Downstream efficiently.
  
• In this role, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for working closely with the maintenance team to ensure regular, preventative maintenance occurs, along with efficient production of the Hammermill.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the production & maintenance of the Hammermill & Downstream departments.
  
• Directly Manage, Train, Develop & Discipline team members as needed
  
• Meet with management team regularly to discuss maintenance plans including projects and upgrades
  
• Manage critical parts lists & inventory related to ordering & tracking parts
  
• Prepare & monitor daily production reports
  
• Examine equipment for excessive wear & work with maintenance to repair & rebuild equipment as needed
• Backup operator in emergency situations
  
• Ensure safety practices are adhered to

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Heavy Industrial Operations Experience (Mining, Aggregate, Recycling, etc)
  
• 2+ years of Leadership/Management experience
  
• Solid Mechanical Aptitude
  
• Experience leading, training & holding employees accountable

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 85k/year, plus an annual bonus, and relocation assistance if needed. Our client also offers competitive benefits and 401k with a company match.
