We are looking for a Production Support Analyst who understands that system stability is the backbone of a great customer experience. You are monitoring our operational continuity, ensuring our core applications and critical processes run smoothly so we can deliver on our promises to Montana workers and employers.
In this role, you will manage complex batch scheduling to critical code deployments, ensuring our systems are healthy, high-performing, and ready for business every single day.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, hybrid position with a required schedule of 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, ensuring our systems remain supported through our most critical daily cycles.
Required Skills
What You Will Do:
- Batch Schedule Management: Prepare, maintain, administer, and modify all production, QA, and development batch schedules and associated documentation using IT tools. Complete all required change requests for batch schedules and ensure documentation remains current.
- Process Execution & Monitoring: Execute daily batch schedules and actively monitor the batch-processing flow and related operational systems for deviations from established standards and successful completion.
- System Performance Oversight: Configure monitoring and alerting tools to proactively watch the health of applications and infrastructure, identifying performance degradation or anomalies before they cause user impact.
- Incident Analysis & Reporting: Independently analyze abnormal system results or malfunctions, executing routine queries to diagnose issues. Report all findings immediately to Team Leaders and senior-level staff.
- Release and Deployment Support: Planning, coordinating, and executing software releases to ensure they are deployed accurately, on time, and with minimal disruption. Key duties include creating release schedules, managing cross-team dependencies, coordinating with development, QA, and operations, overseeing the release process, mitigating risks, and ensuring quality and compliance.
- Business Report Fulfillment: Collaborate with internal business teams to establish and maintain a reports distribution schedule. Execute printing of requested reports ensuring timely delivery to business teams.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive application and systems records, including detailed reports on system performance, production activity, and a meticulous issue log.

Required Experience
What you will need (minimum qualifications):
- Associate degree and two (2) years' relevant IT work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Operating Systems, including Microsoft O365
- Unix/Linux Operating Systems familiarity
Preferred:
- Relevant Certifications
- Knowledge of databases and ability to write SQL queries.
- Basic experience with scripting and automation languages (e.g., Bash, Python and PowerShell).
- Experience with application monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, (e.g., Jenkins and Bitbucket).
Job Location: This is a full-time position with a required schedule of 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The role operates in a hybrid capacity, requiring regular attendance at our office in Helena, MT.
Working conditions:
Fast paced general office environment. Some stress may occur. Requires sitting for extended periods of time, standing, visual acumen, manual dexterity, detailed verbal communications and fine finger manipulation for working with computer keyboards.
Compensation and Benefits: Starting salary for this Non-exempt position begins at $56,800 - $71,000 per year.
